Live Map

This analysis compares magnitudes of earthquakes all over the world for the last seven days in relation to the tectonic plates. GeoJSON data is pulled from the USGS website which hosts live data. The map is broken up into 3 layers - earthquakes, tectonic plates, and earthquakes with a magnitude of 4.5 or higher - all of which can be viewed together or separately. Project Link.

The purpose of this analysis is to look at Amazon reviews written by members of the paid Amazon Vine program. The Amazon Vine program is a service that allows manufacturers and publishers to receive reviews for their products. Companies pay a small fee to Amazon and provide products to Amazon Vine members, who are then required to publish a review. This analysis focuses on a dataset of software reviews that we pull from an AWS S3 bucket, perform the ETL process through PySpark, connect to an AWS RDS instance, and load data into pgAdmin. This analysis measures the age of employees compared to the amount of time they've been with the company to determine the impact retirement is going to have on each department. These results will be used to create a mentorship program that will help train current employees to fill the roles of those retiring and create a smooth transition for new talent to join the company.
